Summary of Responsibilities

This role will develop and execute comprehensive marking strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and business growth. The incumbent will collaborate with the executive team to align marketing initiatives with company objectives.

This role collaboratively with a team will manage & oversee all activities that fall under the Marketing areas of responsibility including but is not limited to, brand management, consumer shows, advertising, consumer website, digital marketing, marketing automation, social media management and corporate communication.


Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Set performance expectations, conduct performance reviews, and support professional development.
  • Product Marketing: Manage product launch strategies, including market positioning, messaging, and promotional activities. Collaborate with the sales and product planning teams to ensure effective communication of product features & benefits and promotions.
  • Digital Marketing: Drive digital marketing initiatives, including online advertising, social media, and email campaigns. Analyze digital marketing metrics to optimize performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Marketing Automation: implement and optimize marketing automation tools to streamline and automate workflows to enhance the customer journey. Analyze data from marketing automation platforms to make informed decisions and improvements.
  • Brand Management: Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies to strengthen brand position and identity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all channels.
  • Strategic Website Management: Develop and execute strategies to enhance the consumer website's effectiveness in driving engagement, conversion, and retention.
  • Collaboration with Sales and Product Teams: Develop and implement joint marketing and sales strategies. Work closely with the senior management sales team to align marketing efforts with sales objectives and drive lead generation.
  • Yamaha Way: Embrace the philosophy of The Yamaha Way and incorporate into all marketing activities. Promote its merits to our staff and dealers and encourage adoption in day-to-day activities. Represent YMCA at all YMC sponsored events and programs, including case materials development and oversight.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor marketing performance metrics, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and generate regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of digital initiatives and inform leadership team.
  • Budget: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum impact. Monitor campaign expenses and ROI, making data-driven adjustments as needed and adhere to corporately approved parameters.
Education Requirements and/or Experience Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma: Post-Secondary (University degree preferred)
  • Program of Study: Marketing, Business, Communications
  • Years of Experience: 10 – 15 years
