Supply Chain Analyst

Yamaha Motor Canada Ltd. currently seeks a candidate for the position of Supply Chain Analyst for Parts and Accessories Department.

Summary of Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Analyst procures and maintains a continuous supply of parts and accessories to meet corporate objectives through enhanced demand forecasting, demand planning and data analytics.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Purchase and stock an optimal balance of parts and accessories in order to meet the sales and department objectives.
  • Communicate with suppliers to ensure optimum delivery performance. Expedite back orders as necessary. Resolve receipt and invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Develop and analyze key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the business processes and inventory management operation.
  • Continuously maintain the parts master database
  • Work cross-functionally with internal stake holders to ensure that their needs are met
  • Additional duties and tasks as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, Business, Supply Chain
  • 3-5 years related experience

Skills and Abilities

  • SAP Experience considered an asset
  • Able to prioritize multiple tasks effectively to ensure timely project completion and generate bottom line improvements.
  • Strong analytical and data mining skills.
  • Proficient in manipulating large amounts of data.
  • Must have sound judgement and the ability to make decisions.
