eLearning Content Coordinator (Contract - 1 year)

Yamaha Motor Canada Ltd. currently seeks a candidate for the position of eLearning Content Coordinator for Dealer Training & Service Department.

Summary of Responsibilities

Develops On-line training modules for dealer and employee usage, and packages them for LMS compliancy. Maintains the internal training website, Yamaha Education Center (YEC).

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Interacts with, and assists the designated SME with storyboard preparation. Collects and stores the required assets and builds the on-line training.
  • Prepares, designs and utilizes new templates for training content.
  • Updates and maintains the YEC web page with refreshed content.
  • Updates and/or changes actions of the modules as they become outdated and require new content.
  • Monthly reporting on YEC materials or Website concerns and issues to the Training Manager.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma or technical designation preferred; Design Arts/Graphic Design
  • Graphic design, web page and SCORM knowledge, 3 years experience

Skills and Abilities

  • Computer skills required; Microsoft office suite
  • Advanced proficiency with SCORM compliant development software (SmartBuilder)
  • Web page (Webmaster) experience and expertise
  • Creative skills to provide attractive learning space
  • Proven time management and work planning skills
  • Ability to work co-operatively within a team environment
