Electronic throttle and shift control is achieved using a digital communication network.
The network consists of a remote control ECU that communicates digitally with the engine ECU. The engine ECU then communicates with the shift actuator and throttle valve actuator to shift and open the throttle.
The engine also communicates digitally with the instrumentation, (Tachometer and Speedometer).
