Yamaha uses advanced CVT technology that keeps the V-belt under constant tension, for incredible belt durability. A second 'Sprague' type clutch connects the engine to the CVT providing smooth engagement plus reliable all-wheel engine-braking (4x4) in either direction, at any speed.
