Yamaha Rider Earns a Factory Ride at the Deschambault ECAN!

Richmond, ON’s Dylan Wright powered his YZ125 and YZ250F to some top finishes in Schoolboy and MX2, MX3 intermediate to snare the second available Yamaha Factory Ride for 2013 at the sandy Deschambault circuit!

“I realized I was a front runner after the races on Saturday when I finished seven Motos with pretty good results” said Wright. “When I realized I had a chance at the award, I didn't really ride any differently because I didn't want to put any extra pressure on myself.”

For his efforts, Wright will get the use of a YZ of his choice for 2013 along with $2500 in parts and accessories.

“As a 14 year old, I found it overwhelming to get the amazing news that I’ll be receiving a Yamaha factory ride for next year. I really hope I can make the best out of what Yamaha is doing for amateurs like me. I am really grateful and hope I can represent Yamaha well.”

The Factory Ride Awards will conclude with the third and final ride for 2012 on the big stage of the Walton TransCan Grand National Championships from August 14 - 19. The Yamaha rider that collects the most points at Walton will walk away with a YZ of their choice and collect $2500 in parts and accessories for the 2013 race season.
